Loading webpages

I have a 23inch asus all in one desktop that will not load webpages. I use Google chrome but have also tried Firefox and it doesn't load either. I can select reload which does not help. I have tried clearing browsing history and clearing the cache which didn't help. This computer came with Windows 8 and I've had it for two years. This problem only started a month ago.what else can I try?

Perhaps it's time to upgrade to the free Windows 10.

You can download the iso file from Microsoft and burn it to a DVD using another computer. Just be sure to select the correct 32 or 64 bit version.
