Hi Dream250,
When you enter Disk Management, can you see the drive's file format and drive letter? Does it appear with black line above the capacity? I recommend you to enter Device Manager and search for the device under USB devices. Uninstall it and restart the PC. Plug the drive back in and check again.
I strongly recommend you to try the drive on another PC and with another USB cable.
