Hp laptop needs help

Hello,
My hp laptop has a virus and I shut it down then I turned it on it is just black and this laptop was 200 dollars!!!! I really need it to work because I'm going to be home schooled and I need the laptop to work. Can y'all please help me ??

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.
