My cd-rom will open ,but will not close.

Hello,



My Cd -Rom drive will open but will not close. I see that it has power, but will not go back inside after the release button is pushed.

It appears to be a mechanical issue. Can you push it closed?

No. I cannot push it closed ,it will not budge. How can I fix this without breaking it?

They are not designed to be repaired. Replacement is your only option.
