HP Desktop won't start after being in hibernation

Hello,

last night I accidentally put computer into hibernation instead of shutting down. Today when I tried to turn on....nothing. I have unplugged and tried to turn on again. Green power light at back is on but nothing happens.

Sorry, Not very computer savvy so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Perhaps a "hard restart" will help:
1. remove the battery and unplug the charger
2. press and hold down the power button for 60 seconds
3. reinstall the battery and plug-in the power cord
4.try to start as normal

Sometimes this procedure will fix hibernation problems
