It appears that you external hard disk has failed.

My only suggestion is that you try another computer.

Good luck

Try this, Your friendly COMMAND LINE tool to the rescue: DISKPART

Open a command prompt with ELEVATED privilege (Administrator)
DISKPART
LIST DRIVE
SELECTE DRIVE <DRIVE NUMBER> (EXAMPLE: SELECT DISK 2)
CLEAN
EXIT

So, if you do this and get ANY errors, the drive is BAD... RMA. Otherwise, you can clean up all your drives (Most cases for RAID PURPOSES)
and then REBUILD your RAID and or attempt to INITIALIZE your drive again.

It shows only disk 0 and the disk 1 not appear in command prompt window.
While initialize the disk in computer management it appears the device is not ready.

Hello,

take the hard drive out of the enclosure and buy a USB converter.

If it works then it is the enclosure which is the problem.

if it does, then your HDD is fudged.
