Hp laptop won't start

Hello,
Laptop turns on, I hear fan, see lights..black, then blue screen. Message comes up for a sec, "windows detects an error and needs to repair" then nothing happens. I left it in this state overnight...still blue screen. I've taken battery out, plug power cord in, and repeatedly hit F11...still Blue screen. .hellllp!!
