I was recently on my iPod 5th generation and then 5 mins later it had cut completely off and wasn't working I tried to cut it back on it wouldn't go n I can't reboot it because my home button won't work it just won't come how can I get it to come on

If it doesn't, it might be a hardware issue. In that case, it is a mechanical failure, and no amount of "tweeking" will work!
