PS3 not working

My PS3 just had gone though the red screen now it just goes black with words I don't know and it just changes plz help I have tried the hold the power button but it just comes up with system update and then it starts again
Plz email me if u have the answer but plz don't keep my email

OK, so did it drop, get liquid spilled on it, or struck by lightning? If any of these, your machine is as good as a burnt bagel (no good)!
Did you make modifications to any of the hardware? Are you connected to a stable network while applying the updates? You may have to wait for the machine to recover. Have you tried a different power outlet?
