Laptop keyboard won't work!

Hello,
I have a touchscreen asus laptop and the keyboard isn't working. I'm stuck on the login since I can't type. The touchscreen keyboard won't work either but it shows that it's responding when I press on them. The keys respond to different functions when I press them randomly, for ex. When I press the c key it'll take me to the front page. And I tried restarting it a lot of times and it won't work.

hi carmen, does it do anything if you hold down on whatever key for a little bit? you may have somehow enabled your filter keys. try pressing the windows key and hold it. if it pops up after a few seconds then it's the filter keys. you can also try pressing and holding the space bar and windows key at the same time.
