Netbook stuck on welcome screen

Hello,

My netbook pc I came to play minecraft I typed my password it loved it and my computer crashed I turned it back on I typed my password again and it has ben saying welcome for 1 hour what do I do?

What OS is it? When was the last time you applied updates?
