Xps l502x doesn't start up

Hi,
Yesterday my laptop shut down itself after showing a blue screen error .
Now when i press the power button the lights on the keyboard get on but then it shuts down again...
I am not sure if it is a hardware or software error...please help... What should i do ??? It is an old one pricesly 4 years old...

It appears to be a hardware problem. It's possible that the hard drive may still be OK and you can recover the data. A local PC repair shop can diagnose the problem and perhaps convert the hard drive to an USB external drive.
