IPod Touch 4th Gen White screen

Hello,

I have this iPod Touch 4th gen 32Gb. I was browsing my Facebook using a Safari browser then I locked the screen because my eyes were starting to hurt so I took a rest. After I turned it back on, The screen turned white. Not instantly. I watched it dissolve into a white screen. But before this happened. This had a lot of issues before like No Home Button so I am using the Assistive Touch and It had a black small spot on the upper right corner near the Lock button. It all worked fine with these issues until today.

Do you think the back small spot issue had a relation with the white screen?
And also sounds like the "Connected Charger" still works but the screen is still white.

Do I need a new LCD?
