Hello,
I have found various problems finding the shift options on my laptop. The @ is mixex up but thats ok. When i press shift+ 3 the £ does not come up # does. After repeated attempts i cannot find a key that gives me a £ sign

I appears that you have the U. S. English keyboard defined. You want to go to the Control Panel then the Keyboard Icon and change the keyboard language to English (UK)
