I think my lenovo laptop blew up

Hello,

I was overseas and plugged my laptop in to charge the light come on for a brief second then nothing and wont turn on .

I think it blew up but no funny smells from the borrd suggesting i have blew it up.

Is there some type of power protection in the laptop ?????

No there is not ! Always use a power surge protection bar.
