Word Reference Update Doesn't Work

I have an old iPhone with iOS 6 and could use wordreference until I did the latest update today. Now it will not launch, it shows the WR PAGE which closes down after a few seconds. How can I reinstate the older version on my iPhone?

If anyone can help I would be eternally grateful.

You can't install an older version. But you can use the website: https://www.wordreference.com/

I'll use this method.
It would be pity to lose such a useful dictionary on my iPhone.
