Ok, so how are they being connected? Just connecting straight into the IP address of the printer, or does it go to a share on a printer server (workstation)?
If you are connecting through a server, then the machine that is getting challenged, needs to be put into the authentication of using the printer. Reverse engineer the existing stations to figure out what is the difference between the stations.
