Downgrade to windows 7 from w10 failed, computer won't start

Hello,

I was not happy with my laptop after installing W10 thus decided to go back to W7. My computer stalled and it can not start or complete downgrade. I'm lost at what to do to try to recover my system. Any help will be appreciated.

At this point your only options are:
1. run the "repair" option from the Windows DVD or Repair CD
2. re-install Windows 7 from the DVD

Thanks xpcman for your answer. I was afraid that these were my only options. If only I would have known that Dell computers are not all compatible with the upgrade!!

@julio- I understand this is too late, but all things are possible, if you know the requirements!
