I want restore Vista with the recovery option

Hello,
I want restore Vista with the recovery option on a Toshiba satellite P300 using the hotkey.
Some one told me that the computer has this built in. I was given a recovery disk but it only has window XP but my computer had Vista when I brought it.
Can anyone help.
