Hello Xcicixicx,
If you can't proceed after the Acer logo and are unable to load the OS, then the hard drive has probably failed, but you have to test it in order to be sure about that. I suggest you to take out the hard drive and try to connect it to another computer through SATA-USB cable. If the HDD doesn't spin at all, anywhere, then it has failed mechanically and needs replacement.
If it spins up correctly and is being recognized on another place, then the problem is hidden within the laptop's motherboard.
