Downloading applications from Microsoft

Hello,
I am having problems when downloading my email attachments. I have noticed that all the document types are: Microsoft Office Word 1997-2003 document. What can I do so that I can Open and/or save them? Help please!

Do you have a copy of Microsoft Office? If not you can download Open Office - it's free and can do 99% of the tasks that Microsoft Office can do. Just Google "Open Office download".
