Hello, i have this weird problem after it shows windows Xp screen when starting up then desk top opens but no icons start button does not work then an error message pops up headed data prevention and cancels everything does not even alow me to open task manager just frozen. please HELP !!!!

No icons

This could be a virus - Some of these viruses are able to mess with Windows to such an extent that your only viable option is to reinstall Windows and erase your hard drive. Good Luck
