Greetings Richard,
The difference between the time sent and received is insignificant. As soon it is sent it goes into the server it will show the time received.
If a mail is sent to you, lets say from Canada to let say to London UK at 6AM it will show as received and sent at 11 AM.
CCM is on Eastern Standard Time (USA). It was posted at 5:26 AM, the time you clicked on submit or milliseconds later.
I hope this answers your question.

This may seem petty and immaterial but you could not imagine how important it is to me (and I will explain at some point if you are interested).
Thanks,
Richard

I can the author claim that his system was 10 minutes slow ? Have you asked? When sending an e-mail it is sent to the sender's smtp server which registers the time sent. The mail is then transferred to the receivers pop server.
Was the sender using Office Outlook or Outlook.com. Was he sending a large size file?
Yes I am interested in your explanations.

This is wicked ! Anyhow, rest assured that a slow pc has no impact on e-mail time. Copy of all those mails can probably be found on the servers.
Good luck
P.S. When a pc shows the wrong time, it will continue to do so and the cmos battery must be changed. Did she get it changed ?
