I can't see my desktop on windows10 [Solved/Closed]

Hello,

Over Christmas we I got a windows 10 for Christmas... But sadly I can no longer see my Desktop... I am hoping that someone can help me solve this problem! (If you look at the screen shot, you can see what I see when I log in)

If anyone knows what is happening please help me get this fixed!

Sometimes hardware just fails! if you cannot think of what might have happened, I cannot start on letting.g you know what could have caused that. I do not have a better explanation than that. I have been in the hardware game fir quite a while, and I have seen some machines roll out that shouldn't have!

I can't go to my desktop screen. When I open the PC it just shows the apps and thats it. Tried to make it work goin through Personalization, Start, but no luck. I have a lenovo yoga 2pro laptop

Your problem does not sound hardware or virus related.

What kind of PC is it? Does it have a touch screen?

It's an HP windows 10 pre installed PC, no touch screen

OK, so that should be warranty work. Take it back to where you bought it!
But my question is why did it do that so if I do return it I can avoid whatever happened?
