Hello,
Please can anyone help me?

I have an old dell Inspiron laptop which I have had hacked into by a vicious ex partner.
He has somehow managed to change my password and destroyed all disks to it so I can not re set my password.
Is there anyway I can re set my password without the disk or am I going to have to purchase a new disk, if so which one will I require?

I really need to get back into my laptop as I am using my daughters iPad and I find the apple software unbearable

We are terribly sorry but CCM cannot help you to recover your lost password, because you can’t prove that you are the legitimate owner. . Everyday computers are stolen, although you may be honest, we do not wish to help potential criminals.
