Laptop cant be turned on

Hi guys. So i tried to turn my laptop on but nth comes on. The ac is plugged in but i have removed the battery.

Basically my laptop's charging indicator light is off and no matter how i press my laptop's power button, it does not start. However, the mouse is lighted up even though i cant turn the laptop on. When i unplug the ac from the laptop or turn off the power, the mouse lights turn off. I take this to mean that the laptop has some power somehow. Yet it wont turn on at all(not even the laptop fans are on, completely dead)


Please help me.
Laptop model: HP Pavilion 15-p259TX NB PC ALL

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.

I tried that. Didnt work. Same problem. Laptop dead but mouse lights up when plugged in.

Sorry to say but you have a huge motherboard power supply issue to which only a qualified technician can attend to.
