My desktop icons are not working

im stuck if anyone can help me PLEASE!! everything was fine yesterday i logged off and when i went to log on again all my desktop icons were not working

Maybe you need to restart your computer. Either that or its just lagging on you, try giving it some time, besides is it just the icons or is it the icons and the name of the website, game, etc.
