Hello,
My thumb drive is recognized on my computer but there is still issues with it. It says that there is no media available in it. Ive done everything I can possibly think of, relettered the drive, command prompt to format it, uninstall driver and reinstall driver I'm completely lost. If anyone has an Idea that could help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Jkelly,

You have followed most of the popular troubleshooting steps. I would recommend you to try the drive on another PC and check if there will be a change. If the situation is the same, there may be an issue with the drive. If the drive is working normally on another PC, I would recommend you to open the motherboard manufacturer’s web page and download the USB drivers. Reinstall them and check again.

Hope this helps

Sadly, the drive may really be damaged. If the device is not working on other PCs, it is less likely to be a driver issue. I believe you have followed all the possible troubleshooting steps. If you have important data in the drive, try using some data recovery tools or try accessing the drive while booting from a Linux Live CD. If you have no important data in it, I recommend you to get a new drive.

Obviously it is damaged. Unfortunately they can't be repaired
