Tried unhiding files but didn't work

Hello,

I tried the attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.* method but instead, i was prompted by a msg saying "Windows was unable to save all the data for the file \data\recover\easy data\Can see\DIR58.JPG\FIL35446.JPG; the data has been lost.This error may be caused if the device has been removed or the media is write-protected. "

What does it mean and what can i do? Pls help thanks!!
