Laptop shows no display sometimes but shows after several reboot

Hello,

My dell studio 1458 laptop sometimes starts without any trouble but sometimes the laptop boots but there is no display,
i keep on rebooting several times but it might show display or not.
Also some times the screen flickers in different colors lines but after few seconds its get corrected.
Plz help

Most likely you have a failing video chip circuit on the motherboard.

Probably the only solution is to replace the motherboard.
