Hello,
I cannot access my yahoo account because you want to verify using my cell phone of record. Thus phone is off. How can I update the phone number of record so I can access my yahoo mail.
Talked to very rude customer service rep and filing formal complaint. I have been using yahoo mail for over 12 years and I deserved better treatment from her.

If you have talked to someone at Yahoo, you have fallen into a scam. Yahoo does not have such a customer service.
If you have paid you have been had.
To be able to change the number, you must access your account settings.
