Hello,
my Micro sdcard in smartphone is not detected by my laptop windows 7 , when connected with usb datacable , while it is working fine with other laptops and may smartphone.
when i open device manager, in portable devices it is shown as external M .
i have tried updating drive , formating, everything is done. but still it is not detected in my laptop
please help.

Hello Mayank,
Have you updated all the drivers for USB on your laptop? If you did, then I would recommend that you change the adapter for SD cards that you connect the card in. How do you connect the SD card with the other laptops? Are you using the same adapter or not? If not, then the suspected failure is within the adapter.
Make sure that the SD card has a recognizable by the laptop format.
