Turn it off and back on again.

Please xcuse my ignorance I am a novice. I am trying to start a Dell inspiron N5110 laptop. When the on is pushed the fan starts, shortly after it beeps 7 times continuously. The operating light in front edge blinks white - amber - white - amber. With no life on the screen at anytime. It didn't appear to charge the battery either. I've tried removing poaer input And battery and holding the on button for 45secs replacing batt and power holding fn down and pressing the on which did stop the beeping but nothing else. Would you know if there's anything else I might try to get it started? Cheers

7 beeps indicates a processor failure, only a qualified technician can attend to it.
