Please, come back to the topic you started and give us more details regarding the problem that you have. In order to be able to help you in a better way, I need you to provide me with more info:
1. How many partitions does the laptop's hard disk have?
2. Are you trying to access another partition or you try to access an external drive?
3. If there's an external drive involved in the situation, how do you connect it?
4. Have made any updates on your system lately?
