Laptop wont start up

Hello,


I have had my compact cq61 laptop for awhile it has overheating problems but now I woke up and its screen is blank when I try powering it up. Another issue is that it won't power up at all with just the cord adapter even though the light indicator is on. If I don't have the battery in there is no life

It appears that the laptop has died and needs to be replaced.
