Wrong username and password

Hello,

I entered the user name and password "admin" but it does not work. I tried just entering the user name admin without the password and it still does not work. Both times, it tells me that it's the wrong username and password.

I have a TP-Link 300mbs Wireless NADSL2+ Modem Router Model# TD8960N and on the back of the router it gives me the Default Access User Name: Admin and the Password Admin yet neither of these work. It stated that the User Name or Password is incorrect. I still cannot access the page. How can I rectify the problem?

did you use the reset button to revert to the defaults?
