Is this a new computer or just one that has been moved from house to house?
You probably have a loose connection to one of the motherboard power plugs. I suggest you unplug the computer, open the case and check/reconnect the power plugs.
It's also possible that your hard drive has become disconnected.
Good luck

it may need a new CMOS battery if it sat unused for so long.
