Pc No signal issue.

Hello, I have a Windows XP with 2gb of ram, I took out my RAM stick and plugged it back in.
My PC Shut off so I turned it back on, then a red light flashed 8 times, I turned it off from the plug and tried agian.
This time it didn't flash but just has no signal.
EveryThing is plugged in correctly,
Please help.
