Windows 10 translation problem

I installed 10. Obligatory, not by choice. Ever since, I constantly get a pop up window which gives me choices while I am typing, for Undo, Paste, etc. I can't figure out what has changed and what I am hitting "by mistake".
Also, most annoying, it is automatically translating my email messages when I type in another language, I have gone to settings and language, I have tried to remove the translate function - nothing works. It is driving me nuts! Thank you!

You get 10 days to go back to previous operating system if you do not like 10.

To do this, press Start > Settings > Recovery and then just to go back.

Thank you very much for your precise and easy to follow answer, at least I can see if this is the issue, I didn't have it before installing 10.
