My ipod wont turn on or charge

Hello,


I was using my ipod then I plugged it in to charge then suddenly it refused to turn on or charge it was just blank ......... I tried recovery mode but it didn't work ..................plz someone help me

sorry there is no help short of returning it to Apple for service
