Toshiba computer problem

Hello,
My Toshiba laptop turns on normally. It's goes on then to the to shins screen and then the the loading screen that says getting Windows ready don't turn off your computer and stays there. Just keeps loading that's it. I've tested it it can go on for at least 40 minutes
