Hi MyKeiah,
I am sorry for any inconveniency caused by your My Passport drive. Could you please explain me what happens when you try to connect the drive to a laptop PC? Is the drive recognized in Disk Management with a correct file format and a drive letter? If there is no drive letter, try to assign one, right clicking on the drive. Do you have valuable information stored on the drive? If you do not have, I strongly recommend you to format the drive and try to access it. If you have the option, please try the drive on a Linux PC or using a Linux Live version. Are there any noises coming from the drive, like clicking sounds?
Hope this helps
