Flash drive files will not open and they are labeled with symbol

Unfortunately you may be facing some file corruption. I would recommenc you to run the Command Prompt and using the chkdsk L: /r command.
You need to change the L letter with the letter of your flash drive. Wait for the process to finish and try to acces the files again. I would recommend you to update your anti virus and do a complete system scan. If files are still not accessible try using some data recovery tool. I leave a link with some suggestions:
