Hello, I have it connected to the wifi and its shaded in a light gray and then it goes off and I have the right password and right security and it won't work how can I get my wifi with messing with the wifi box?

If it's a new tablet I suggest you return it under warranty. We have seen numerous problems with wifi connections on RCA tablets.
