Press the Number lock key. If it turns off a light, or turns on a light, then the CPU is still there to accept a command. If the number lock key does not make any changes, then the CPU is HUNG, and it will continue to stay hung, I.E. no savy of worky!
Press the Windows key, does the start menu come up? If no, then hung!
