Just orange screen after encoding password

Hello,
I have a problem where I cant see my desktop and it just shows an orange screen. I can still log in to my laptop, type my password or move the pointer but it doesnt show anything after logging in. It's supposed to be showing me my desktop but it's not. I tried pressing sime keys but it does not work. I'm afraid of doing something further than those because I might delete a lot of stuff, inside my laptop and I dont want that to happen. Please help me.

It's best to have a local PC repair shop diagnose the problem. Any internet solution will probably just make it worse.
