Problem with Windows 8.1 PRODUCT KEY

HI guys .. can you help me with my window. My window's edition is Window 8.1 Single Language. My laptop always shows that i need to activate the window and it will expire soon but i can't remember my product key and in the settings said under Activation Windows tab "the product key should be on the box that the windows DVD ... etc." and i don't have that DVD. I try some of the product key that i search from google but nothing works I'm so worried right now.. i need your help guys. Can i have a Product Key for free?

Hi

You will be more worried after you read my answer.

The product key is unique to the Windows 8 presently on your machine, no other product key will work on your computer.

You must purchase a product key from Microsoft and register with Microsoft.

Failure to enter the proper product key will eventually freeze your machine, perhaps sooner than you think.

thanks for your reply and right now i'm so worried T..T can i ask something? where i can buy a product key? i try online by clicking "buy key" in Activate Windows setting but it always show i should try later or find a near retailer. can you give me a link where i can buy product key?

You must go to a retailer where you will purchase a card, the card will then be validated. On the card there will be a space to be scratched and reveal the product key.

Mind you, you may have to update to Windows 10
