Booting problem

Hello, When I boot my computer the icons,start menu and taskbar does not appear except the wallpaper. What do I do.

In XP, hit the run key and type "EXPLORER"

it is that simple. If it continues to do that upon reboot, post back and we will find a permanent fix based on the results you give us!

Press together alt+ctrl+del

The task manager will open

Click new task and enter explorer.exe

Click okay

I tried alt+ctrl+del it didn't work

Try to restart your computer in safe mode and check if it shows desktop icons.

Windows XP.... Is there any important data in your drive where OS is installed or in desktop??
