My asus laptops alt is not working

Hello,
i have an asus lap top for 2 or 3 year from now. im playin dota every single day. and this past few months alt stopped working. there are alt keys on my keyboard if 1 alt key is broken my other alt key will work right? but its not. both are not working. i need alt for my dota game. i think its in the programm or something please help mee

Hi Seansanity,

It depends on the manufacturer, but the Alt keys may be wired together, so if there is a hardware issue, both of them may stop working. To solve some software and key mapping issues, try using a system restore to a point when all worked fine. Please backup all important data before doing so.
If system restore does not solve it, you may need to contact a technician and ask for guidance. If the laptop is under warranty, contact the seller.
