Hi Seyram,
Are you trying to access an external hard drive? I recommend you to test the drive on another PC and with another USB cable. When you connect the drive, open Command Prompt as an Administrator and type the following command:
Chkdsk H: /r
Replace the H with the drive’s letter. Wait for the process to end and try to access the data.
If the issue persists and you have stored data that you need, use a data recovery tool and try to save the most important files. Once you do so, format the drive and test its condition with the drive manufacturer’s diagnostic tool.
